Blue Gingham Paper Placemats

Blue gingham paper placemats in a deeper navy check, which is the version that reads grown-up rather than nursery. Navy holds its own against a dark wood table where a paler blue would disappear, and it takes red or white accents cleanly, so the same mat covers a 4th of July cookout and a Sunday dinner in February.

Twenty-five sheets to the pad, 18 by 12 inches each, torn off one at a time.

Perfect for: 4th of July parties, summer barbecues, coastal dinners, boys' birthdays, graduation lunches, and everyday family meals.

How many placemats do I need? Count seats, not guests. A pad of 25 covers a table of eight three times over, which is usually a season of Sunday dinners or one large party with spares.
