Happy Rainbow Plush Pillow by Mon Ami

A rainbow pillow earns its place in a kids room by doing two jobs at once. This one is a plush pillow in rainbow colors, so it reads as decor from across the room and as a toy from arm's length, which is a genuinely useful trick in a shared bedroom where shelf space is contested.

The arch shape is the reason it works. It leans against a headboard, props up a reading nook chair, or sits on a shelf without needing to be arranged, and it is satisfying to squeeze while somebody reads out loud. Next to a flat printed cushion, a plush version survives being sat on, thrown, and slept on. It suits nursery decor, a playroom, a rainbow birthday, or a baby shower gift table, and among throw pillows it is the rare one a child chooses to keep rather than one a parent has to defend.

How do you wash a throw pillow?
Decorative pillows with sewn-in fill are generally spot clean only, since machine washing can shift and clump the stuffing permanently. Surface clean with mild soap and cool water, blot out excess moisture with a towel, and let the pillow air dry completely.
