Raymond Reserve Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 draws from seven Napa Valley vineyards spanning Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, and sites near Stags Leap. A cool spring and temperate summer allowed slow, even ripening, while the long October harvest preserved acidity and brought structure, ripe fruit, and plush richness together.
Black cherry, cassis, and violet introduce the wine, followed by blackberry, dark chocolate, toasted cedar, and fresh sage. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity carry the concentrated palate into a long, graceful finish. Extended skin contact and French-oak aging build depth without sacrificing balance.
